Dancing With The Stars 2020 contestant Justina Machado is ready to bring the Latin heat to the ballroom and impress the judges and the fans. Behind-the-scenes production decisions and the COVID-19 pandemic have contributed to quite a few changes taking place on with DWTS season 29. For one, Tyra Banks has replaced Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews as the host of the show. In addition, veteran judge Len Goodman has been replaced by fan-favorite professional dancer Derek Hough. The reason for this particular change is that Len Goodman hasn’t been able to leave the United Kingdom because of the pandemic.
Despite the many changes on DWTS season 29, the show is essentially the same it’s always been. Except, there’s no live audience this time, and there are some new faces giving out scores and delivering smooth transitions from one segment to the next. This season’s cast is also a very classic Dancing With The Stars lineup that mixes legendary celebrities with people who have become more famous in recent months. The cast ranges from cheer coach Monica Aldama to rapper/singer Nelly, from NFL athlete Vernon Davis to animal activist Carole Baskin.
Justina Machado is a legendary Latina actress who’s now ready to prove herself on DWTS 2020. All in all, her acting credits include both blockbuster movies and hit TV shows. On the big screen, Justina played a role in Torque and in The Purge: Anarchy. On TV, she is best known for her roles on One Day At A Time, Six Feet Under, and Jane The Virgin. As such, Justina is a high-profile actress who’s been working in Hollywood for many years. And now, she’s taking on Dancing With The Stars as yet another challenge.
If the DWTS season 29 premiere proved anything is that Justina Machado is ready to impress the judges with her contagious charisma, fighting spirit, and great dancing. It’d be very surprising if Justina doesn’t make it very far this season, as she has everything that it takes for a celebrity to earn the judges’ trust and grab the fans’ attention. She described herself as not much of a dancer, but she also brought up having a Latin groove that might help her during his competition. So far, it has.
A new season of Dancing With The Stars is always good news to the longtime fans of the show. This cast is also particularly charismatic and willing to do their best, which is an early sign of a great season that has just begun.
