The Original STAR TREK Cast Inserted Into J.J. Abrams' Film Thanks To Deepfake Tech

Post date:

Thanks to the help of deepfake technology, the YouTube channel Futuring Machine has created a video that puts the original cast of Star Trek into J.J. Abrams’ modern movie.

One of the things that I like about this video that other deepfake videos haven’t done is offer a cool narrative. Most of this video puts a focus on Captain Kirk’s Kobayashi Maru test. It presents the story using footage from Abrams’ film and also cuts to footage from Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan.

This is actually a cool video that I think you’ll all enjoy. Check it out!
